Highly recommend this awesome hotel and its amazing staff and spa. The only tiny tiny tiny two things are that afternoon tea finished at 430 pm so we missed it every day as many skiers would. Secondly you get an allocated table for each meal for each day. It never changes which can become stale. However the staff were amazing and let us shift around...

The owner is hands on and sponsors a variety of public events like blass band and other performers outside the hotel square. 2nd floor has a massive balcony patio, library, reading room, etc. There’s also the ability to rent an ev car or bike right from hotel. All guests I talked to enjoyed their stay and other locals in town have called it a hot spot for hanging out....

This is a wonderful family owned farm with very nice, roomy accomodations mainly geared towards families with young kids but wonderful if you just need a nice break from travel. "Das Falkenstein is on the outskirts of Kaprun, so it would be most helpful to have a car, which I did. It's a traditional Austrian hotel with that style of decor. Everything was super clean, my single room was very comfortable, the WiFi was great, and the breakfast was plentiful (even fresh watermelon), farm fresh eggs (their own chickens, which I "visited" out back!). Free parking right out front with more across the street, where the scenic river rushed by. Staff was very nice and helpful....

"The place was quite clean and nice, and they allowed us an early check in. Our lodge was nice and spacious, and comfortable to stay in. "We’ve just returned from a fantastic 3 nights in Rauris. The Birkenhof was the perfect little hotel to rest our heads. The staff were lovey and couldn’t do enough for us.
