"We stayed one night. The bed was uncomfortable. Felt like an old mattress. Pillows were flat and hard. Thus a poor nights sleep. We were thankful the window opens for fresh air. "We had an enjoyable family stay, the property is in good condition and fantastic location. Breakfast offering is the highlight. Opportunities for improvement are around family-friendliness and more proactive customer service- check-In was very cold and abrupt, almost intimidating - service in the restaurant better but again lacking of some basic elements of customer friendliness, engagement with children etc."

"Loved this hotel! Our room was huge and had a nice balcony. Wish the weather had been nice, but it was rainy and cold. The staff were so nice and helpful. The Orangerie Restaurant had an amazing dessert. The dinner menu looked great, but we ate elsewhere. This property is right across from the water, and we had a bit of a view of the Baltic from our room. I would highly recommend this hotel is you're staying in Kuhlungsborn."
