"The apartment that I stayed is not sea-viewing. The apartment has clear sign of require maintenance. What frustrated me most is that Regency Apartments charged my card eventhough I have already fully paid to Hotels.com. "DO NOT STAY AT THIS PROPERTY! It looks nothing like the pictures. Both showers only had burning hot water. There are paper thin walls with neighbors screaming constantly. We had to step over a girl sleeping on the sidewalk to get out of the property one night. The entire place smells like mold and is filthy. "The apartment was exactly what we wanted! It was comfortable and clean! The host was wonderful and had no issue with answering any questions we had! The apartment is so close to the high street - a perfect spot for nights out or just a quick visit to the center. "This was our first visit to Southend and it was for my wife's birthday. It was a beautiful apartment, sparkly clean and tastefully decorated. The view from the apartment was spectacular. We were very happy there. I had trouble shutting the door when we left as there is no handle so I used a corkscrew from the apartment to shut the door which I left on the the shelf outside."
