Zen if it was dreamt up on a council estate
If you come to the Lunas Yoga and Spa resort for some, as they say “slow travel” you might find that you will leave with your chakra’s so far misaligned they now resemble the pebble ash tray they say is the local beach. On arrival expectations were high as we thought after two weeks on the road through Europe this would be our opportunity to relax and reset before the last leg of or trip. Instead we found that we would not be staying in the ‘yoga and spa’ hotel as we thought but in fact the 3* family oriented hotel adjacent. Further more, the double bed we had booked might look suspiciously like two single beds, like we were 8 year old children in boarding a school. We were then told that we could pay an additional £120 to “upgrade” our room to the spa side of the hotel and get our double bed. This made no difference finding ourselves transported back to the 1980s with the eras defining styling and decor. Our day begins as you would expect on your Yoga and relaxation stay, with some of the younger cohorts of yogis returning from what I can only assume was a late night meditation session in the local town at 2.30 am through what I can only assume is rice paper walls separating the rooms. We try and return to our slumber ‘zen’ing’ away the sounds of teenage vomiting in the adjacent rooms. As the sun rises so do we (but a few hours behind the sun, it is slow travel after all). I had a lovely stay at the hotel: the staff was very friendly, the rooms were clean and the pool was amazing. Besides that, the food was excellent. Only one remark: the walls are very thin, so it was very noisy in the hallways every night, and you could hear people's footsteps upstairs loudly. Lastly, the cleaning staff did a great job at cleaning. However, they made a lot of noise doing so. We woke up because they were moving things in nearby rooms but they were not paying attention to doing this in a quiet manner. It woke us up almost daily. Finally, the overall experience was amazing, the only thing less pleasant was the noise at the room. I would recommend this hotel.

Et veldig fint ute- og bassengområde, i tillegg var det veldig fine fasiliteter som resepsjon, barområde og frukost. Rommet var dessverre en nedtur. Ganske slitt og utrolig lytt. Det føltes som om vi hadde naboene inne på rommet vårt for det var så lytt. Dette drog ned opplevelsen betydelig.

El SPA no está a la altura del hotel
Nos ha gustado todo, a excepción del spa. El agua estaba fría, la mitad de los chorros no funcionaban, igual que las camas de calor. El agua del jacuzzi carecía de higiene (turbia y con pelos en la superficie). Además se deberían plantear un horario específico para familias con niños porque nos tocó una familia muy escandalosa. En fin...no pudimos disfrutar de lo que se llama una experiencia spa y nos fuimos a la media hora cuando habiamos pagado por 2 horas. Lo comentamos en recepción y lo único que nos dijeron es que enviáramos un email...sin más...

Sejour décevant. Parkin en arrivant payant sur un terrain en face. Chaine tv satellite mais que 1 chaine française. Bruyant et mal isolé, on entend les voisins . Niveau repas meme ebtree chaque jour, pas beaucoup de choix et pas d étiquettes d information sur les plats. La pluparts des services sont payant ( meme les lits de doleils à la piscine adultes) . Nous n' retournerons plus et avons meme quitté les lieux plus tot sans remboursements bien sur que se soit pour le parking, la chambre ou la demi pension ).

Meestal vriendelijke mensen, lekker eten. Het zwembad was soms vuil, maar had een mooie tuin. De kamer in de 3 sterren gebouw was echt niet goed, we waren in een familiekamer en 1 persoon moest op een veldbedje liggen die echt niet goed lag. De kamer had ook een lek aan de wastafel en er was een vuile geur. Ook was de kamer gedateerd en echt geen 3 sterren meer waard, eerder 2.

Hotel bien situé. La piscine est top. Les chambres mériteraient d'être rénovées car elles ne sont pas à la hauteur du reste de l'hôtel. Le prix du parking nous a paru très élevé = 20€ la nuit.

We hadden een goed verblijf hier. Beide zwembaden zijn zeer aangenaam. Op onze kamer hadden we geen koelkast, iets wat we wel misten. Er is regelmatig ‘s avonds iets te doen in het hotel en dit vonden we zeker een meerwaarde.
