Charming Old Farmhouse, Beautifully Restored - ideal base to explore SW Ireland
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (19)
"Lovely historic farmhouse but still updated with all the modern amenities you'd want. The kitchen in particular is in excellent condition and well stocked. Appreciated that there was even breakfast options like cereals out. It is likely obvious, but should be noted it is not walkable to anything and you must have a car to get to a grocery store, restaurant, town, etc. The hosts brought us fresh baked bread, butter and jam one morning, and it is the BEST bread I've ever had in my entire life. My...

Country Retreat - Ideal for Touring
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (51)
"We loved this home for the moments we saw it online. Then when we met David, he was very helpful with everything in the home, but also had maps out for Ireland. My family did get sick during our visit and David was on it! I followed him i to town to get medicine for my son and husband. David checked in several times to make sure we were ok, and if we needed a doctor. Thankfully we didnt but having the owners close by meant that we could reach out if we needed anything. When we return for...

Historic Hideaway in Cork City Centre
8.0 out of 10, Very good, (3)
"My friend and I stayed one week at the Historic Hideaway in June. We enjoyed our stay very much. The place is clean, comfortable, well equipped, very quiet and at walking distance to the city centre. The apartment was a perfect base to visit (in our case, by foot, bus and train) Cork and its surroundings."

Charming, Modern Masonette in Fermoy River Town
9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (29)
"There is not much going on in Fermoy, but it is possible to drive to some major attractions such as the national park if you don’t mind a bit of a drive. The house is very tastefully decorated and well equipped, but it is very small and the beds are listed as queens. If you are coming from America, please note this means full. Not a lot of room for suitcases, but the listing clearly stated how small it was. Overall acute little place, but not really in a destination spot."

"A quirky and eclectic house, not the for tall of stature. It's a traditional style of Irish country cottage set in a gorgeous Limerick valley. If you like country living and a break from the mundane, this is a good choice. Watch out for the oil heating bill at the end though."

"This was a great option for us because we were in Cork to drop my daughter off at UCC. It was clean and comfortable. The staff was wonderful. Having a full kitchen made eating so much easier and cheaper. Keep in mind that this is a dorm and is not a luxury accommodation. But, I would absolutely do it again."
