The property is under need of a renovation but to be honest, great value for the price paid. The bed was comfy, the double glazing amazing could barely hear any noise from the busy street outside, only bad thing about the room was the shower was like standing under a hose pipe!! Will definitely stay again!

OYO Hotel.

Very reasonably priced. Good location. No food on site. Room is basic - but everything worked. You may have to wait for the reception as it is not always manned. Would stay here again, because so well priced.

Friendly staff, good location. Warm room and comfy clean bed. Room in need of modernisation but fine for a one night stay. Lot of noise outside from youth's early hours of the morning. Not the hotels fault.

The double room we booked for 2 people was very tight, and overpriced due to the basic standard of the room. The staff were approachable, however, the motel is very dated and could do with modernizing.

If you think the pictures look average just wait until you get there, its a dump. We though from pics it would be of a older travelodge standard, it wasnt even close.

Avoid

The photos are not an accurate representation - this hotel is totally run-down, old and dirty. The mattress was old and lumpy, the walls are peeling, the carpet is threadbare, the furniture was badly stained. There were also bars on the window, so it felt like a prison. My friend came to my room and she got kicked in the bathroom. When I went to get the man on reception he came and got her out, but he tried to make it out that is was her fault for "locking the door then pulling it", but then said several times that it happens frequently. I'm not sure what would have happened if I had accidentally locked myself in when I was alone with no way to ask for help. There was no food available, and there are definitely better quality places for the same cost. The only reason I didn't give 1 start is because the bedding was very clean.

A real review

Budget accomodation but very basic, bathroom in dire need of upgrade, bed really uncomfortable and would have been too small for a larger person. I woke after an uncomfortable nights sleep by the souls of a domestic argument in the room next door and feeling really grotty and headachy as the room was so hot and stuffy and the window locked shut. Def not going back!
