"Good hotel for staying at Mandalay, location is okay, and easy to get driver to everywhere. Restaurant in hotel is good and many other options nearby. Good beds, very clean, good pool, basic gym. Cant ask anything more for this price. Superb!"

"Positive: Staff is very friendly, pro-active and helpful, even for Myanmar standards. Breakfast is pretty good with the usual rice, noodles, fried vegetables, soup, rubber bread, eggs, bananas. Rooms have mosquito meshing. Negative: The rooms are awful. They are dated and in desperate need for a make-over (when did they last paint?!), especially the bath rooms. Cleaning is very superficial. I was careful what to touch and pretty engrossed. Rooms are so small, I can't see how 2 people would fit...
