"This property is ideal for a quiet break. the gardens and views are really remarkable. The area is so quiet. Its probably not so great with children as there are 200 steps to town or same to beach otherwise its taxis which cost a bit. Breakfast was great for the view, pehaps a little pricey for the content. "The location is perfect. Much less busy than the city of Taormina. The apartment is on a hilltop looking down at a lovely bay and Mozzaro beach. Lots of restaurants with sea views and 3 min walk from bus and taxi stands and the cable cars. Unfortunately the cable cars were under repair during our visit as this would have been super convenient to quickly get up to Taormina. Should reopen soon. Apt was well equipped and host was very helpful. Can’t beat the location. Especially in busy tourist...

"The view of Isola Bella from the private balcony and from inside the family room with large window was breathtaking. House is very spacious with each bedroom having its own private bath & shower. Shower space is bigger than most properties in Italy and water pressure incredible. Host is very responsive and gave us a detail tour upon check-in which we appreciated. "We had a great stay at Mike’s place. The space is very nice, lots of room, very light and great views. It’s right across from a playground which our kid was at daily. Short 5 min walk down to the main strip. The only thing which others have mentioned is it is a penthouse and there’s no elevator so you do have to navigate 5 floors of stairs to the unit. We had no issues with this and it’s what give the great views. Great value and would definitely stay here again.!"

"Marquis-Taormina was an idea spot for us. There is a spectacular view off of the terrace, a free parking spot for you car, and very well located to the main street of Taormina. Veronica was great in checking us in and out--she was very helpful with places to eat and things to see. We highly recommend this place. "

"The staff at this hotel were very hospitable. They assisted with plans, dining reservations and provided parking service. Throughout our stay they called to check up on us and ask if everything was to our satisfaction. I felt sick during our stay and they even called to ask how I was feeling and if there was anything I needed. Overall excellent experience at this hotel."

"I upgraded to one of the studios which was a new experience for me but I enjoyed the view, the privacy, and having access to a kitchenette where I could keep snacks and whatnot. Maybe because they were refurbishing, but I was disappointed that there wasn’t a restaurant or bar on site to get a quick breakfast. The staff were very friendly and very accommodating."
