"The hotel was very classy and clean. It was walking distance to manduria Town with nice places to eat nearby at very reasonable prices. Nicole and Sara were incredibly kind and couldn't do enough to help us with info on places to visit and otherwise. We would return here just because of the wonderful customer service received from them and the lovely hotel of course. Our family room was spacious and had an excellent jetted double shower which our 6 year old couldn't get enough of. The wifi wasnt very strong in our room and dropped out alot so my husband worked from the lobby a few times whilst there. The breakfast was OK for European standards. I would definitely recommend this place. "

"Everything about your stay here was wonderful! Gianluigi was fantastic. We got a flat tire on our way in and he immediately called a mechanic to help us. He offered to have our rental car company call him, since our Italian is terrible and we didn’t know where we were! He even gave us the hours and directions of where to get the tire fixed the next day. He truly went abover and beyond for us. The apartment was beautifully done and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, with a lot of options. I’m sure Mandurià is out of the way for most International travelers, but it’s definitely with a stop and a stay at Casa Magadè if you’re in Puglia! "

"The Salento Winery Lodge has so much potential but there seems to be a few teething problems with staffing, processes and infrastructure. We had no working WiFi for the duration of our stay (3 days), the bath in the junior suite looks very welcoming, but the water wasn’t hot or powerful enough to be able to run a warm, let alone hot, bath. There were issues with the timing of our room being cleaned/not cleaned each day, and there was general disorganisation with staff during breakfast with requests/orders being overlooked etc. I informed the one English-speaking staff member of our early check out the day before but there were no customer facing staff available on check-out. The owner was also very keen to make use the facilities at the same time as guests - both he and his mum, which did impact the feel of a ‘boutique’ experience. Also alarmingly, one of the buildings seemed to have a cctv camera pointing directly at the lol area. Beautiful pool area. The suites will benefit from another year of plant growth to provide privacy from the pool area. "
