It's a great pre-war hotel. Really cool looking and takes you back to old New York even though rooms have been updated. Walking distance to time square and/or subway to get you anywhere. My only complaint is we stayed in middle of june , it was hot hot, and the city traps the heat, my daughter said AC was fine for her but I like it a little colder. Also, take note of size of bed. If traveling on a budget and sharing bed I accidentally chose a room with a full which worked but was a little cramped.

"We were on the 19th floor and the view was not what we expected, but over all the service, room was perfect! Just so you know, if you paid for the »breakfast »don’t be too long because everything out of order around 8:30 am (even if you have accès to your breakfast until noon) 😅"

"the property was nice, the rooms were great. The extra charges for destination fee is not part of the room as well as the $100 a day deposit. Be awsre, staff was nice and it made our trip extra fun."
