You will love a lakeside stay at Helios Hills, a retreat on the waters of Lake Chelan. With an 800-square-foot deck, 140 feet of waterfront, including a dock and a boat buoy, and a great location just minutes from wineries, golf courses, casinos, and restaurants. It will set the stage for an incredible trip to one of Washington's premier vacation destinations! Nestled in a private cove at the base of apple orchards, the home's location is excellent for sightseeing in town and exploring the lake's north shores. Head three and a half miles south for family-friendly dining in Manson or drive 12 miles south to Chelan, or go a half-mile farther from downtown for all-ages fun at Slidewaters Waterpark. Head south for a walk along the waterfront followed by a picnic at Chelan Riverwalk Park, or lace up some sturdy boots for a hike in the hills. You could also rent boats, jet skis, inner tubes, and more at Shoreline Watercraft and Boat Rental or spend the day sampling acclaimed vintages at over 40 wineries with live music entertainment in the area. EV chargers are also available at several local wineries/businesses for greater travel convenience.

Expansive picture windows with impressive lakefront views beautifully compliment cabin decor and plush furnishings in the classic A-frame design of this home. With three window air-conditioning units in this home, you can cool off between all your water-themed adventures in the spacious living area, where you'll find comfortable couches for taking a nap or lounging with your group on movie night as the room's TV features a DVD player. This home also offers free WiFi to help you keep in touch with friends and family back home.

With the home's western exposure, you're guaranteed plenty of sunshine, so head outside to soak up the sun-drenched views. Your options include a downstairs dock extending into the lake and an upstairs deck and patio with lounge chairs and a glass-top table for an alfresco meal. Speaking of dining, you'll find everything you need to whip up homemade meals in the open-concept kitchen, which features modern appliances, assorted cookware, and ample countertops. And don't worry about lengthy cleanups - a dishwasher takes care of it all.

Afterward, continue the group activities with a game of cornhole outside, or pull out some board games and puzzles for a fun-filled evening indoors. For more outside fun, guests enjoy biking and hiking the surrounding areas. There is also a boat ramp for use nearby! You could also bait a fishing line and cast right off the dock, then toss your fresh catch on the deck's gas grill for a tasty barbecue.

The main floor's primary suite features a full bathroom.

Property was great! Only thing I would let people know is the drive down to the house can be a little harry if you have a large boat due to tight switchbacks and railings on the deck are not kid friendly so be careful. Everything else was awesome! Beautiful view and very peaceful!

Perfect stay for early October fishing trip in Manson
I really liked staying in this house. There is so much awesome outdoor space. The neighbors are very nice. The rooms are comfy. The furnishings are not new, but they are adequate. Things to note: Only add as much water to the coffee maker as you want for the brew. Leave a light on if you're coming back at night - the porch area is very dark.

Overall a fantastic place to stay, with a little booking weirdness
We absolutely loved the house, it was well maintained and cozy. The view was fabulous. The only negative thing was that they hid some booking stuff. If you book thru vrbo your booking IS NOT done. You gotta call the owning/managing company and provide a whole lot of sensitive identity info to confirm your booking. I absolutely did not appreciate the fact that this was not mentioned anywhere on vrbo. They wouldn’t even refund if I decline to give my sensitive information, so you’re stuck with giving your information or lose your money. Not cool.

Lakeside Getaway
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay this week. The location is nice and quiet. The deck and dock area spacious with a great view. The house if far enough up the lake to escape the crowds but close enough to town for amenities. We recommend parking your boat and trailer at the Manson boat launch. It is a little tricky driving it into Helios Hills.

Weekend girls trip
I celebrated my bachelorette party here and had a great time. Communication with the property leading up to our stay was difficult and I was not able to successfully get in touch with anyone. However, the stay was everything we could have wished for. The property is beautiful and the house was clean. It was overall a wonderful stay!

Great property great neighbors! Needs AC and a buoy for boat also good directions needed for first time renters. I loved it the kids loved it but my wife was too hot. Loved that the man who built the home was from our hometown of Normandy Park. I would book it now with those changes. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us. It is truly a magical place!!!

Not Kid Friendly - Poor Neighbors.
Place had not been cleaned, dog poop on second floor, sheets in piles on floor. Deck is dangerous for kids and dogs - we put up temporary plastic construction fencing to avoid falls from deck. Neighbors are a pain, challenge use of community dock and called property manager about too much wake from our boat one time. Dock is not good in a wind - skylight leaked in rain - screen door detached. We won’t be back

Beautiful Location
Other than some plumbing issues on day 2 of our stay... which was addressed and resolved within a few hours, our stay was wonderful. Absolutely beautiful location that worked out great for our family. Accessing the house while pulling a boat is nearly impossible as there are a couple of really narrow and tight turns. All in all a great place and great trip.

Chelan is a really fun place to stay and this house has a great location.
Overall, I enjoyed staying at this property and it’s downfalls did not in anyway deter from the good experience. If you have dogs or kids this property could work for you. The place is just a tad run down and a lot of it was simple fixes. Curtain rod falling down, shower that doesn’t drain, broken lawn chair etc. The furniture is very old and shabby. However, since we had kids it made us feel less anxious, like we would had the furniture been white and pristine. There were a few things that were just annoying such as only being provided two garbage bags, six towels, one paper towel roll, etc. They do not allow you to use the washer and dryer. The outside area is really pleasant. There is a big dirt/grass area the kids could run around in. There is a ton of upper and lower deck area. The dock was in good shape. You’re there for the outdoor experience after all!

The property itself was nice, comfortable, clean, and cozy. Directions, boat access not reasonable!!
Directions SUCKED. Do not take Berkly up the narrow DIRT road. You can go around on Summit and then down Berkly on paved road. Very narrow, tight, and steep... not reasonable nor safe with a boat. Residence area is like one long narrow driveway with other residences on the same driveway. No reasonable way to turn around. Vrbo agent lied and said the only access was by the dirt road berkly which was not true and we had to find it ourselves without there help. I told them prior we had a pontoon boat and was mislead about accessibility. The agents dont have a clue what they talking about. We were thoroughly PISSED by the time we got there. But after we settled in and took our boat elsewhere, it was lovely. I WOULD NOT recommend this place if you have a boat. Misleading on all counts. Nice if you just plan to relax without a boat.

Affordable lake front with fido
Lovely home, well stocked with all the essentials, a newer grill, plenty of fenced in yard/space for parking and the dog to run around. This home has a very spacious deck to lounge in the sun and entertain. The dock is perfect for mooring your boat for the entire stay and the waterfront is great for a quick swim. All of the pluses outweigh any of the minuses (most mentioned in previous reviews). I would gladly stay again!

Nice older lakefront house
Beautiful view, right on the water. Love the deck and the dock. Plenty of fans in the house to keep the air moving through the open space. Well equipped kitchen. Comfy beds with nice sheets and lots of towels. Lots of closet space. Ample seating and deck furniture. Gas grill was great for outdoor cooking. Upstairs has multiple beds per room and the bathroom is in the roofline so it is an awkward space, but it works fine. Other reviews say the toilets are slow to flush, but you don't have to hold the handle the whole time - it's fine, probably low water usage models. Fenced yard and tile floors were great for our four-legged friend. Beach towels also provided. HoA boat ramp is convenient, but steep and angled; it is really only for smaller watercraft (we barely launched our 19' ski boat). The dock at the house is not set up to moor overnight nor is there a mooring buoy. Daily in and out wasn't a problem though. Would go again.

Wonderful lake-front home!
Just returned from a long weekend here and loved every minute - the home was perfect for us ( 3 couples) and definitely could have accommodated additional guests. Each of the upstairs rooms can sleep 3-4 people. The home is exactly as pictured and included all the extras we needed, such as kitchen stuff, plenty of towels, floaties for the lake, etc. The deck and the dock is where we spent most of our time, our friends staying nearby were able to easily pick us up on their boat from our dock. The home was a little tough to find upon arrival because it is down a private lane, but we ultimately loved that location and the privacy that came with it. We were only a few minutes from Manson but it felt very secluded and private. Neighbors were great as well! Overall we would definitely stay here again!
