"Hotel in great location on the promenade next to Old Nice. Very walkable. Hotel staff were wonderful, very friendly and polite. Hotel a little dated but very clean. Missed having a hotel bar. Bed was very comfortable and view from small balcony of the beach was awesome. We enjoyed the whole experience! "

"This hotel is beautiful and iconic Service is slow and not what I would expect with a hotel of this caliber. Elevator was so slow we always took stairs, bar was so slow you usually wait 3-5 minutes before being acknowledged to be seated. Lots of guests in line left. Not acceptable service. The breakfast was OK and again very slow service"

"Loved the location across from the cathedral. Very walkable, with the tram stations within 5 minutes and the train station in 8 minutes. Grocery store and mall across the street. Staff were the best. Lots of amenities available. Breakfast was at the cafe below, so coffee and pastry tray at tables beneath the cathedral, watching people go by. Great gelato place on the same block. There is a tiny two-person elevator for those who can’t do stairs. "

"The Westminster hotel is perfectly located for dinning, shopping and access to the beach and promenade. We were impressed how quiet the room was, e.g. we did not hear noise from neighboring rooms and from the corridor. Breakfast has a decent choice of food. Parking is easy with the nearby public parking place Massena. Staff was always willing to provide assistance. We would definitely consider going back to this establishment."

"The Hotel Gounod is in the perfect location to stay in Nice. The beach is a few short blocks away, the train station is also a few blocks away in the opposite direction. Plenty of restaurants and shopping in walking distance. Old Nice is close as well. This hotel is beautiful. It is a small hotel (like a boutique hotel) but the guest rooms are very spacious, clean and nicely appointed. Loved that we could use the pool/jacuzzi and rooftop bar at the hotel next door as well!"
