"This hotel is beautiful and the location is stunning. The staff was wonderful and the food was excellent. We had a fantastic time. The only issue we had was with the private trail to the hidden beach. The trail is very steep and very difficult to navigate in places, so be careful if you decide to use it. "

"We stayed at Plaza Yara for 3 nights. The room was spacious, clean and well maintained. The staff were excellent and provided great recommendations for the dinner and even where to watch the NFL semi final game. There were squirrel monkeys playing by the pool and 2 macaws. The hotel is close to both Queopos and Manuel Antonio. There isn't much within walking distance and it is a busy road so getting out of parking was challenging at times, but the staff helped with that when needed also. ...

"Only one problem - no water in room to wash with- the water completely shut down twice. Once in the morning in middle of showers. The response was quick and fixed both times but no one likes soap in their eyes they can’t wash out. They only gave us a small discount off extras for the inconvenience which should have been a bit more. None the less we would definitely return and recommend because everything else was wonderful. The property is beautiful! "
