"We enjoyed our one night stay at Hotel Avra in Rafina. The staff at the front desk was pleasant and helpful. There were many restaurants easily walkable from the hotel. Sitting on the balcony and watching the ferries and other activity outside was pleasant. The bed was comfortable. Having the early morning airport shuttle was a help. We would recommend a stay here."

"This hotel is incredible! The concierge was so helpful that I wanted to hire her for our personal tour guide around Greece!! She was so amazing (Anastasia), and her recommendations were exactly what we wanted. The room was beautiful, clean, and modern. The location is central and not far from the Acropolis. The only complaint was the elevator system was a little clunky and it sometimes took a Long time to get an elevator. But this is so minor and not very relevant to our overall experience. "

"The place is convenient to Acropolis and Plaka area, we had a great time walking around the neighborhood. The reason I gave 4 is the air conditioning, we cannot control it, its centralized, it can get really hot in the room and no way to make it cooler. The concierge and the rest of the staff are friendly and helpful. The welcome drinks (local liquor) and pastries delivered in the room is a special touch, really appreciated it. "
