"Exceeded expectations by a lot. Clean, comfortable, large bathroom. Easy check in even when the reception is not manned. A bit of a hassle with parking, but worth it. Ask the hotel in advance for the parking instructions and any extras. They are very helpful. The city parking machine was only taking cash."

"The room was good, very spacious. It was a little noisy with announcements from the train station, but when you stay close to a train station then thats to be expected. Check in, however was very lengthy. There is someone manning the desk, but you have to check in via self check in and the electronic board is painfully slow. "Well, what's not to like about the Europäischer Hof? It is simply a luxurious hotel with a Michelin restaurant. Everything about the hotel was super. And, it should be for the price. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was beautiful. We arrived on Christmas Eve and had a fixed course to menu Christmas Eve dinner in their restaurant. It was scrumptious. "Convenient for transport for tram, bus and train. The area felt safe even at night and the apartment had everything we needed. The apartment floor could have been cleaner as the laminate was dusty and the dishwasher not emptied and dishes not put away. "Stayed with my mom here while visiting the Heidelberg Christmas Markets! Very close to the main markets, and the funicular up to the castle was basically attached to the hotel’s bldg. Perfect location for seeing the castle and walking through the Christmas markets! "

"A unique hotel and restaurant. Somewhat dated and quirky. Unfortunately there is no close and convenient parking, but that is to be expected in an old city center in Europe. If you are not fit enough to carry your luggage for about a half a mile, you need to look elsewhere. Large room with sitting area and private outdoor space as well. Good location for visiting the historic sites in Hildelburg, and becomes very quiet after the main tour groups leave for the day."
