"Everything about this rental is carefully curated by the owner and the attention to detail did not go unnoticed. It checks all the boxes for me. Very close to town (less than 3 minutes) yet you feel far away. The house is SUPER clean and not overcluttered, it's minimalist but not cold which is totally my vibe. Clear and precise instructions on how to use everything. Owner was always quick to respond to questions I had before the stay and gave very specific directions on how to get there because we were arriving late at night. We didn't have any issues. I love how well stocked the house is. Tons of dishes and appliances, extra blankets and towels. Also love having a washer and dryer. I would highly recommend this rental for anyone who enjoys peace and quiet with incredible views. It honestly doesn't get any better than Merit Camp so you can just stop searching right now and hit that "book" button!"

"It's a good place to stay for a few nights. Private parking is nice. The location is easy to get in and out of. The kitchen is well-stocked and the view is beautiful. The AC was a little hard to find because it was hidden behind two doors. The beds were comfortable. The only drawback is sharing a long bathroom with 2 boys - would have been nice to have the toilet a little more secluded but it was only a couple of nights. The property is really nice."

"This bungalo / craftsman style house is the cutest! Inside is an eclectic decor with a mix of mid century modern and West Texas flair. We enjoyed our time gathered in the living area while a few of us cooked and prepared home meals. The dining area is large enough for a group to have dinner or breakfast together and play a game of cards in evening. The kitchen provided a large cast iron skillet which we loved. We loved the outdoor water feature and seating area for morning coffee and conversation. The location is great a distance from the main part of town (2-3 block if walking). The neighborhood felt safe as we had runners in our group that left before dawn early in the morning. The owner was responsive when we had an issue. "

"My family stayed at Vaquero Vibes for the Marfa Lights Festival, and we absolutely loved our stay! Our host, Carla, was super friendly and very accommodating! The bar area is amazing! The room/casita was cozy and perfect for my family of four! We will gladly stay here again, any time we’re back in Marfa!"
