"We stayed at the Banyan cottage and it was lovely. Up on a hill, very private. It had screens so no need to worry about bugs. "Overall we loved it, though it would have been good to know that you can't drive to the hotel if you don't have a proper 4WD as it is located at the end of a long and steep tarished road. "Calibishie is about beaches so why not stay in a wonderful villa overlooking the beach? This villa is great and you should stay here if it is available. Glorious sunrise views over Hodge's beach from your bedrooms and the terraces - you can walk down the path to get this beach and you probably will be alone there as it is very quiet. "This is a beautiful and quiet property. The on-site restaurant provides a delicious breakfast. It is about an hour's drive from most attractions but is much more peaceful than staying in Roseau. Like most beaches in Dominica, this one is not swimable. This property is relatively isolated, so we ate most of our dinners there as well. The food is tasty and portions are large. "
