"The Creekside Home in Mariposa was a great place to stay. It’s a bit of a drive to town (20 minutes), but worth it. A clean, comfortable house that had everything we needled. Unfortunately we were visiting Yosemite both days we were there so didn’t spend much time at the house, but the time we did spend there was comfortable. "

"Host was very good with communicating up front. House was all decked out for Halloween. Very comfortable and accessible once we found it. Getting to parking area was tricky because of roadwork going on. Had trouble finding address and driveway way challenging. Cute town."

It is in a remote location, so being comfortable with country roads is important and your cell service provider may not work. Very peaceful, beautiful nature and a sky full of stars. "The photos don’t do this house justice! It’s way bigger than we thought and it was perfect for our three families, with a total of 12 people and we didn’t even use the upstairs loft! The master is huge (our family of 5 fit in it!) and there was enough bathrooms for everyone. Great place to stay. "We’ve stayed here many times and love it!! Cabin layout is perfect. Every convenience is provided with clear instructions on how to use everything. There are safety features also, such as active extinguisher in the kitchen. Couldn’t ask for a better host or more interesting cabin. "

What a great stay!

"Absolutely loved this adorable little inn! We were in room 9, on the backside of the house where they have check-in. Don’t let the idea of it being Mariposa’s oldest hotel scare you away - it has been updated, with much of its vintage charm left intact. Perfect location for walking to the cute little shops and restaurants downtown. My only reason for doing a “4” for “condition” was that the room’s door was a little hard to close, plus lugging suitcases up/down the wet patio steps was cumbersome. I would stay at this quaint little inn again in a heartbeat."
