Quiet place to stay with easy access to Yosemite
Perfect place to relax after exploring Yosemite. Grocery store about 6-8 minutes away, cute stores in town to visit, well stocked cabin with the cutest decorations and very comfortable furnishings! Easy to communicate with owners. They even let us know we could check in early. Highly recommend the Red Barn Inn and would stay there again if we were in the area!

Loved the Red Barn Inn
We absolutely loved the stay in the little Red Barn! Very clean, everything we needed plus extras. Beautiful property so quiet and peaceful. What we really liked best was the drive to and from Yosemite. It is beautiful, along the Merced river and the park entrance was no wait line. We loved the town of Mariposa for dinners out and grocery. Plus it was nice to stay away from crowds in Yosemite. We visited the park to hike everyday.

Always a peaceful stay
This property is simply perfect for what me and my wife look for in a vacation stay. The location is great and provides incredible peace and quiet. The property itself is kept in perfect condition. Everything is clean and comfortable. In fact this has become our stay of choice whether we’re back in Mariposa. And the owner was incredibly friendly and above and beyond accommodating. It’s always a pleasure to be able to stay at this location. And we look forward to the nexf chance we get to stay there. 😁

Great launching point for Yosemite
My wife and I greatly enjoyed our stay in the lovely Red Barn, which was quiet, cozy, and well equipped. We reached Yosemite in about an hour's drive, which was lovely in itself. We especially appreciated being able to sit at night under the moon and stars and enjoy this peaceful, country retreat. Our hosts were very helpful and helped right away when we misplaced our house keys. We highly recommend!

The best for a Yosemite Trip!
We can't say enough about the little red barn! The perfect spot for exploring Yosemite and the Sierra National Forrest. The barn was immaculate and so well appointed. We had everything we needed and more. The hosts were so easy to communicate with and the location was so quiet. Our little family loved sitting on the patio each afternoon watching the birds. We used the grill, laundry room, and all things kitchen related, to make our stay as close to being at home as possible and it was even better than we expected. Our host even brought me creamer when i forgot my own, so sweet and generous. You cant miss with this gem!!

One of the best places we have ever rented
The cabin is very well secluded and there are several outside seating areas to enjoy the wildlife and scenery. The cabin itself is perfect. The kitchen area had everything we needed for our stay and the living area is extreemly comfortable. There is a large bedroom with the most comfortable bed, and a large bathroom. The entire cabin was perfectly clean, home form home. We BBQd every night and sat outside until it became dark. The cabin location was perfect for us with onle an 8 minute drive to go to Mariposa.

We had a great stay at this awesome property! It was clean, beautiful and peaceful -- exactly what we needed after busy days of hiking and sightseeing at Yosemite. John responded quickly to my emails and questions which I appreciated very much. We took his advice on one of their favorite local restaurants -- Savoury's -- and it did not disappoint. Great service and food! Thanks for a great place to stay!

We couldn’t have wished for more. The Red Barn Inn was perfectly equipped and super quiet. Our kids loved the outside area and the location was really good for us to visit the Yosemite NP. Communication with host was very good.

Perfect getaway
Great location. The house is as described. We enjoyed sitting on the porch playing cribbage after a day of hiking in Yosemite. Clean. Comfortable beds. Kitchen had everything you would need even included K cups for Keurig coffee maker which was a nice touch. This is one of the better vrbos that we have rented. If we are ever in the Yosemite area again we definitely want to stay at this house.

What a fantastic place to stay! The Red Barn looked small from the photos but it felt spacious and comfortable when we visited beautiful Mariposa! Our hosts saw to every detail and we felt at home immediately. It was close to Yosemite which we visited daily. The nearby town of Mariposa has everything we needed. The bedroom was cozy, comfortable, and beautifully appointed. We wanted for nothing. We especially enjoyed the grounds, the birds, and the absolute tranquility. We would HIGHLY recommend the Red Barn as a quiet retreat in a lovely area.

Had a relaxing stay after a day spent hiking Yosemite. A perfect jumping off spot if you’re planning on a one day excursion to the park. Laundry facilities much appreciated. Very quiet and peaceful. Beautiful relaxing stay
We loved the view from the red barn and the whole house was lovely! Everything we needed was there and it was so comfortable. We enjoyed visiting Yosemite and coming back to a relaxing retreat afterwards! It was so convenient to have the washer and dryer to take care of our hiking clothes. Mariposa had so many great restaurants to enjoy.
