"The apartment is in an excellent location right by the river, two minutes walk from several restaurants and five minutes walk to York centre. It was lovely and warm and the garage a huge bonus. The kitchen was well equipped. We were surprised that there was no welcome pack as is standard in self catering accommodation and the kettle was heavily lime scaled. We bought some descaler but it needs several attempts so we had to use a pan to heat water for drinks. The person in the accommodation...

"This holiday home is the most perfect myself and partner have booked. The decor is absolutely amazing and a lot of thought had been put into it by the owners. It is impossible to pick any faults. The home was clean and high standard and quality of equipment and furnishings. Studying the ‘quirky’ decor was an enjoyable time spent. Simon and Lynne were so friendly without being intrusive. The advert does not do this place justice, it was above and beyond our expectations and we shall be back "

"I picked this particular property due to location and the fact that it came with a parking space. The property was as described and in fact probably exceeded expectations. Everywhere was very well equipped and clean; it was very cold outside but the heating worked well; main bed and sofa bed were both very comfy and there is plenty of storage / hanging space for clothes. There was a small amount of noise from the road outside and people moving around in the flat above but it is a town-centre...

"On first entering the apartment, it’s lovely, and it really is. However, the living room doesn’t have any blinds or curtains. So at night time, it’s like being in a fish bowl. "A lovely hotel, in walking distance from town center and the the Shambles and York Minster. Great, friendly staff. Checking in and out was easy. The room was very clean and warm. Just check parking before leaving home as there is no parking on site. Theres a NCP parking close and the hotel offer a discount for parking there. "

"Pending reviewReviewed Lovely warm room on ground floor. Best pillows we have slept on. The room and bathroom were spotless.The breakfasts were great with plenty of selection. The spa and pool is definitely the best we have been to. Changing rooms warm and very clean. We went at 8am and it was very quiet. All staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Bus service in to York was a bonus and stop just to left of hotel entrance. Will definitely return to this hotel on our next visit to York."
