I rented the place for a couple of nights in mid November to celebrate my 30th and it surpassed my expectations. "We had a great time at the lodge, it was spacious, well presented and in a nice wuiet location. All amenities were as listed and we didn't find anything wanting. The children found lots to do at the hoburne site and we could relax in the peaceful surroundings. Overall, a wonderful base ro explore the area. "

"This house is beautiful and sparse. We were a group of 8 adults and the house did not feel crowded at all. Unfortunately, the BBQ shown in the garden images does not work, however this was not necessarily mentioned as an amenity in the listing. The only place this house loses points is in its cleanliness - this really was not up to standard, as mentioned in previous reviews. "Absolutely perfect weekend away with good friends. Such amazing facilities, the swimming pool is absolutely first class as is the dry sauna and steam room. We could not get enough of it! The games room with the air hockey and arcade game machine is a lovely touch too. Bedrooms and en suite beautiful and clean and the hosts/owners were so very pleasant and helpful and always there if we needed them. All in all I cannot rate this place highly enough and we will definitely be staying again!"
