"There are only 3 pods, which protects the quiet and peaceful atmosphere. The view is exceptional and a place to truly relax. The pods offer a good standard of living space with a lovely hot shower and a really comfortable bed. The local sheep add an interesting intro to being in the countryside and lovely to watch. The pod is reached by a narrow single track road but this didn’t cause us any difficulties. The location is great for getting most places in the Dales. We will definitely be back. "

"Wonderful countryside and surprising light traffic locally. 30 minute walk on a quiet lane to the George & Dragon for good food, real ale and a delightful beer garden. Excellent Green Howards army museum and grand castle in Richmond. Hawes well worth a visit and Barnard Castle is a surprisingly large and bustling market town which has a lot going on and is a must see location. "The property was very clean and comfortable. Nicely decorated and bright. The beds were lovely and comfortable and the area very peaceful and quiet. Lovely garden to enjoy too. Just a few minutes by car into Barnard Castle - Barnard Castle was such a pleasant surprise. Fab meal in the Three Horseshoes. We loved the area with the river to walk alongside and the impressive attractions in the area - like High Force, Bowes Museum (wow!) and Beamish. We will visit again."
