"The room was warm unfortunately there was no hot water. Being January the restaurant was closed so even for a warm drink and food we had to go out in below freezing temperatures. The bed was very clean. No food or drink allowed in the rooms. "

"A total mistake on my part making a booking at this hotel. It's inadequate in every way possible, no proper en suite, awful towels, etc. etc. I do not understand how a family could cope in these so called family rooms. Unfortunately I did not realise it is trying to be a theme type experience, rather than being a 'proper" hotel. We arrived at 5 pm and there was no parking available. The reception, corridor flooring etc. is as scruffy as you can get. I hope this helps to dissuade you from booking...

"The chalet accommodation is ideal for us and our two small dogs as we do not disturb the hotel guests if the dogs want an early morning toilet. The food in the restaurant was very nice but an “over the top” bar tender added farce to a lovely evening. We have stayed in the chalets for the last two years but no maintenance work has been done on faulty door handles and toilet flushes."

Meal was very good, but disappointed that our 90euro per person meal did not have a fish course and a meat course, especially as the lobster half was very small. Also confit tomatoes did not go with the raspberry sorbet, not a good idea. But the sorbet was delicious "

"This is a budget hotel so don't expect fancy thrills. We were pleasently surprised. The hotel is clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff is friendly, welcoming and very helpful. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay and would stay here again if we were in the area."
