"We got there just after 6pm. The place was open but there is no reception, nor was anyone there to greet us and no phone number to call. Fortunately there was a couple of guys staying there who were able to call someone who let us into our room. I couldn’t remember if this was a pay at property or if we had prepaid so I asked the guy who told me we owed €75. We offered him our credit card but he asked for cash and it wasn’t till the next morning I discovered that we had indeed pre-paid. The...

"Very strange "kitchen" with a stove put on top of what was a bar and is extremely high. No extraction hood so its mpossible to cook. Bathroom without window or extraction fan. Constant noise right outside the door. The ad says the owner speaks French and English but they don't speak a word of English. We did not see the super well equipped place mentioned in other reviews. We do not recommend this place."

"Very friendly and accommodating reception. Easy to find if you put the number 28 with the address. That is the restaurant outside the gate. Breakfast was lovely and access to the A26 for Calais was quick. It is a budget hotel but at a very good standard."

"We booked a Queen room with city view and ensuite On arrival, we checked in and was told, we had been upgraded We asked for a reservation for dinner, to be informed their restrauant was closed on Friday, Saturday and Sunday ! This was not stated on booking Room had a double bed, not Queen Had sky light and industrial view if opened the window, no window with city view Were informed a large party were arriving on Saturday night and wanted rooms next to each other Lack of hot food left for breakfast, we went dor breakfast at 08:45 Shower and wc open plan to bedroom ! "This is clearly a hotel geared up to accommodate truck drivers and others that have no other requirement than a bed for the night close to the motorway. Almost no evidence of staff and no one to call on in the event that you have an issue. It was not a pleasant room and smelled of damp. "
