"Wir hatten eine super Zeit im Birentobel. Bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir von Nadja persönlich zum Haus begleitet. Das Haus war bereits vorgewärmt, sodass wir sehr entspannt ankommen konnten. Das Haus entspricht genau der Beschreibung, kein überflüssiger Schnickschnack, aber alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Ein perfekter Ort, um abzuschalten und vom Alltag runter zu kommen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!"

"Die Kommunikation im Voraus mit den Eigentümern der Hütte war total unkompliziert. Die Anreise im Dunkeln im Nebel & Schnee vom Ort zur Hütte hoch war ein kleines Abenteuer, aber gut machbar. Die Hütte ist perfekt ausgestattet. Wir haben nichts vermisst. In der Küche sind Spüli, Geschirrhandtücher, Spülmaschinen-Tabs, Gewürze etc. vorhanden. Wir hatten aber alles selbst dabei. "It's really at top of the world. The cottage is at the top of Nessalu mountain top. Excellent if you want to spend time in nature. It's difficult to find so contact the owner before you go there. Owner is very friendly and very helpful. She knows only German, but she was really nice to use Google translate to talk. I want to really thank her for that. I think it's good for a group 10-15 people. But it will be amazing for a couple too."

The stepping stones used as stairs are uneven, some wobbly, and no hand rails, which made them very UNSAFE. The home needs a new latch on the gate and a handle on the patio door. "Ein wunderbarer Ort um kurz abzuschalten. Das Haus und die Küche sind sehr gut eingerichtet und sehr heimelig. Der gesamte Garten ist eingezäunt für Hunde/Kinder und es hat sehr bequeme Liegestühle. Es liegt zwar direkt an der Strasse, wenn man aber hinten raus sitzt und die Schlafzimmer hinten raus hat ist es absolut kein Problem. Gerne wieder!"

Reception were very friendly and helpful with a variety of places to eat nearby. The only downside was that the hotel is a little distance from the railway station but a regular bus service drops you to the door, so no real issues. Loved it and would stay again. Huge inflatable Lindt bunny on the roof of the shopping centre"

"Stayed here just for one night after arriving in Chur on the Bernina Express and before departing for the rest of our vacation. It’s a very simple hotel, but superbly clean, very friendly staff, a fresh breakfast and right in the center of the old town of Chur. There are even thoughtful additions such as outlet converters in rooms so everyone can use their electronics. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if I happened to be in Chur again. "
