"Overall a great stay. Just what we needed for a week of doing nothing in a cosy, beautiful big house. If you want to get away from reality for a while this is the place. House was a perfect size for me and my family! We stayed here for Christmas and it is just what we wanted. "Wonderful artwork is available for purchase from the very creative mind of the owner’s husband. The kitchen was well supplied and the outdoor space is exceptional. The stairs are quite steep and the children’s beds are softer and were better for us (sore backs). The yard (and home) is absolutely beautiful. We loved the parking and private access via the bridge running over the river Vienne passing by the side of the property. "Our Canadian add UK family met here for a much anticipated reunion. This is a gorgeous property that provided plenty of space for ten adults and six children. The house is lovely with a well stocked kitchen, lots of comfortable sitting areas, and a great patio where we sat outside for meals and evening chats. The grounds are beautiful and we really enjoyed the big pool. Kate was a lovely, helpful host. All in all a great stay! "
