"The facilities team could not have done more to make our stay better. The villa was lovely, decently equipped and really private and relaxing. Close to shopping and lots of beaches and restaurants you do need a car to get around there is a patisserie and a couple of restaurants that you can walk to "

"Perfect spot for an active retired couple. We spent a week in apt during our month touring Mauritius, Rodrigues and La Reunion. For this stay we didn’t have a car and used the local buses to get to Grand Bay and Port Louis and walked along the coast in both directions. Our daily house keeper Rka was lovely. She brought papaya from her garden and told us which buses to catch to get around much cheaper than Taxi’s. There is a supermarket about a 20 mins walk away and a smaller shop within 300...

"Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette maison pourvue de toutes les commodités et sécurisée. De plus l'accueil d'Ikbal a été chaleureux avec des boissons fraiches et quelques pâtisseries du pays. Une aide nous a également été fournie pour organiser des sorties et des excursions. "The villa was our home base for our 4 week stay (5 adults). It is about a 10 to 20 minute drive to several beautiful beaches and many other amenities such as grocery stores, restaurants, excursions, shopping centres. There is also easy access to the highways to get to other parts of the island.
The pool was cleaned on a regular basis and there was weekly house cleaning. The property was exactly as advertised and the property manager Linlay was very easy to reach when we had questions or needed...

"A well equipped apartment of good size. Hassle free arrival and departure. Two bedrooms each en-suite with aircon and an open plan lounge / kitchen with wrap around veranda. It felt very private.
The beach close by appears to be mud so no swimming there but beautiful beaches at Le Morne."

"The house had been empty for a long duration throughout Covid. This meant that some of the equipment wasn't in great shape when we arrived eg. We had no hot water for over 11 days. The owners tried their best to fix it themselves, but had to concede defeat and call in a plumber. The house, and it's facilities need updating and renovating eg. Sitting room furniture is very outdated, the downstairs shower cubicle needs replacing/ renovating, the masonry around the swimming pool needs renovating,...

"We were a big group of family, visiting our home country and this house was perfect for us, we were 15 ppl including a teenager, a 6 years old and a 2 years old and we stayed for almost a month.
As described there is 2 levels with each level having 3 on-suite, a full kitchen with dishwasher and a washing machine and dryer. We really enjoyed the layout of this entire villa as we all had our own space and didn't get annoyed by each other by the end of the trip. Wifi was great the entire time....

"We were met on arrival at the villa by the housekeeper Dorinne.
Dorinne was very friendly and showed us all around the villa and explained the alarms and keys etc.
The villa is extreamly well equipped with everything you could possibly need and more.
There is a cool box and beach chairs and umbrellas provided for beach days along with beach towels. The bedding and towels are changed reguarly.
The pool is kept beautifully with the poolman coming twice a week to clean it.

"All staff were friendly and did everything possible to accommodate any requests, and the restaurant staff were very attentive to any dietary requests. A beautiful room and a beautiful property. "Brilliant staff and it's the staff that make the resort 2nd visit here there will be a third.
The reception staff are awesome as are the bar and waiting staff.

"The Mauritian people are of the most hospital and attentive to your every need we’ve ever met and we have travelled around the world.
Also the quality of food and drinks very good.

"Belle Mare is well run with lots of staff to assist. Beach and pools are well maintained. Golf is excellent and easily available - free for residents which is great for 18 holes whenever and twilight 9 holes. Definitely will come back. "

"Fabulous Resort. Truly felt like we were in paradise. All the staff were very polite and friendly - Tania at reception and Fazal at poolside. Food for breakfast was great especially enjoyed the addition of make your own juice. Buffet dinner at La Patio was good with different theme each night and Citronella restaurant was also very nice. Would definitely consider returning in the future. "
