"My wife and I stayed two nights here and it was very peaceful and quiet. The cabin is behind the owners house but they have put blinds in the cabin and also have a privacy fence between the house and the cabin so we did have privacy. They provide you with a remote to open the gate so you can come and go as you please. The cabin is small but perfect for a couple just looking to get away. We brought a puzzle and assembled it during our stay. "

"This was a mini version log cabin of our parents place in Lowgap, NC….warm, easy, welcoming! Easy to Lowgap and a visit to familiar places and faces. The Autum Leaves craft festival in Mount Airy was amazing. Recommend the location and management company."

"We arrived at the check-in time. The apartment was ready, clean, and comfortable.The coffee, water, wine, popcorn and instant oatmeal were nice. Easy walk to Floyd Country Store, Farmers market, and restaurants. Needs: the coded door lock either needs to be replaced or needs a fresher battery. The rubber buttons are troublesome - requiring a long push for each. The towel rack in the bathroom needs to be reattached before it falls out. "This was a lovely little stay for us. We were traveling with our dog, so we needed somewhere to accommodate us. I would say this place is a bit more pet tolerant than pet friendly, but we were able to make it work. It was clean, efficient, and cute to boot. As others said, the stairs are a bit steeper than expected, but not unmanageable. "

"I loved the people! Everyone was so nice and went out of their way to be helpful. Check in was easy and because we were there this trip for a funeral they got us into one of our rooms early so we could freshen up and change clothes before the service. "The property and the staff itself are absolutely great, the neighborhood surroundings are not desirable tho. Buildings in disrepair, no upkeep on making the town "pretty". Not a good hotel for a weekend away, but definately perfect for an overnight stay for an event or just traveling through."
