"Having stayed at various properties in the surrounding area over the years, I can say hands down that Johannas apartment is the best we’ve ever stayed at. "Ginzling - unlike some of the nearby towns - remains an authentic, likeable and calm village. It's a fabulous base for walking the zillertarel alps. We hired a car but didnt really need it as there are many walk from the door and a regular bus service between mayrhofen and the lake at the very end of the valley. Gerda and Kurt are fabulous, helpful and welcoming hosts. Can honestly say in many years of self-catering in Europe, I've never met such attentive hosts. The apartment is well-equipped...

"Das Zillertal ist aufjedenfall einen Besuch wert! Die Wohnung plus Garten waren super. Liebe Familie, saubere und geräumige Wohnung und wir haben super geschlafen. Einziges Manko für uns: etwas weit ab vom Schuss. In das Dorf/ die Stadt über Straße, zu Fuß 45 Min Berab bzw Bergauf. Auto ein Muss! Aber das ist ja vom Typ her unterschiedlich und mit dem Fahrrad bestimmt auch gut zu machen (E-Bike). "

"Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt in Mayrhofen. Zum Skibus ist es nicht sonderlich weit und man ist ruck zuck an der Penkenbahn. Im Haus war alles vorhanden was man braucht. Die Hochbetten wirkten, gerade für erwachsene Personen, nicht so vertrauenserweckend. Wir haben es dem Vermieter mitgeteilt und nach unserer Abreise wurde sich dies direkt angeschaut."
