I will be back, but please have more mosquito smoke around the restaurant and bars. We decided it would more comfortable in the room. We got bit all over our bodies. WEAR Repellent!! Fast and friendly staff.

Nice place but short of expectations

Communication was bad, I made a request through the number that appears on their website, was told they would get back to me and never did. The day of check in I was contacted by another individual, made a reminder of the request and it was never attended to. The place could have been cleaner at check-in, the outside of the cabin was full of leaves, it would have been easy to have them blown before guest arrive. The reservation was for four people, yet we get to the room and there were only 2 towels in the bathroom, no linens nor pillows for the sofa bed for the two other people... basic request that any hotel should address without the guest having to arrive and have to request it, if you expect 4 people, make sure you have what 4 people will need at a minimum, bedding and towels. The hotel advertises Wi-Fi but the signal is only available in the reception area which is not convenient at all and is outdoor, no service in the room. The place could have better heating equipment, it was quite cold, the cabins are not properly insulated and the heater provided does not heat a room, let alone the cabin. Overall, there are several details that could be addressed to make guests more confortahbe (there is no place to put the soap / shampoo inside the shower, you need to put it in the floor), (there is only one towel hanger in the bathroom, with a party of four, we had to hang towels in different places), (there is no room service during the stay, 3 days without service)...

El lugar está hermoso, las cabañas muy lindas, limpias y bien equipadas. El personal muy amable. Es sencillo llegar, queda como a media hora del centro de Mazamitla, por lo que es recomendable llevar todo lo necesario para la estancia. Mi calificación es por lo siguiente; llegamos a las 3pm y a las 11pm se fue la luz, hicimos check out al día siguiente a las 12pm y la luz no había regresado aún. No hubo algún comentario o ayuda por parte del personal, simplemente nos quedamos en total obscuridad y ni alguna linterna o luz de emergencia. Al hacer check out nos comentaron que al parecer se había caído un pino, pero que sí era frecuente que se fuera la luz. Se entiende que puedan pasar este tipo de cosas por el entorno en el que está, pero al ser un tema frecuente deberían estar preparados para actuar y ofrecer algún tipo de ayuda a los huéspedes.

La vista está increíble, y aunque las cabañas están relativamente cerca, tienes toda tu privacidad. Amé el sonido único de la naturaleza y la atención del personal. No hay que esperar para que salga agua caliente, cada alojamiento cuenta con su asador y chimenero fuera de la cabaña. Super recomendable para escapada de fin de semana. Lo único a batallar para los citadinos es la escalera de caracol para llegar a la recámara
