Quiet getaway
The place was as described, a quiet rustic cabin with all the amenities needed. The lockbox may need to be changed, did have trouble getting it opened, but finally got in. Will return! If you are looking to disconnect and enjoy nature, this is the place!

Amazing stream-side getaway!
Spacious stream-side cabin in the woods with bountiful amenities. Wonderful wraparound porch that is only steps away from a mountain stream and large fireside gathering area. The cabin offers a very cozy atmosphere and is well stocked for a lengthy stay. The A/C and gas fireplace really make this place a year round destination. We’ll most definitely be back!

Cabin with creek get-away
If you want to get away from a busy life, this cabin offers that. On the plus, it has internet and we didn't have much of a problem with Verizon Wireless with our phones. Be sure to bring your groceries; you can find milk and bread nearby. Creek can be fun for ages 8 and up. Fished a little without luck, but we're novices.

Lovely place, very comfortable and romantic. This was our second time there and it was just as great as we remembered. Amazing shower in the master bedroom, too. Great porch to sit on and enjoy the views of the creek.

Perfectly Off the Grid
Just what we needed! The cabin was lovely and the location couldn't have been better. We enjoyed the sounds of the river and walking along the mostly cleared path that skirt the river front. The fire pit was fabulous. We brought our own hammock to enjoy afternoon naps. It was a great off the grid stay.

Our favorite place
We have stayed at Clearwater Cabin previously and loved it so much we came back for our anniversary. We'll be back again. We enjoy quiet restful vacations which is exactly what we got. There is literally nothing to do in McDowell, but that's everything we wanted. Sitting on the deck by the stream drinking tea and reading was as perfect as it gets. The house is the perfect combination of very rustic but with modern conveniences! I hesitate to tell how much we love this house because then others will rent it out from under us!!!

Perfect vacation
We were loking for a quiet get away vacation and boy did we get it. The house is secluded to the point that the only sounds come from nature.The house is quite rustic, which we wanted, but it has all of the modern conveniences including a beautiful 2 headed shower "room"!!! The deck is right on the stream so we spent most of our time out there reading nad listening to the water. It really is my dream home! I can't say anything bad at all. We LOVED it!!!!

Our second visit to this cabin was just as great as our first. Location is perfect for fly fishing a variety of rivers and small streams. Porch is perfect for reading and napping. We highly recommend.

Wonderful stay!
Great stay. Clean, neat well equipped cabin in a great location. Very comfortable beds. Crab Run creek running just behind cabin was very nice and relaxing. Caught a few small trout! Only suggestion would be to replace the two futons with a couch and a couple recliners.

Great romantic cabin
Great cabin, wonderful views and very private. Kitchen, bedrooms, and bathrooms had everything we needed. We got to enjoy being outside near the water a couple of afternoons, and curled up inside watching DVDs during some rainstorms that came through. Overall a great place and I'm sure we'll book it again!

Perfectly Cozy Cabin
The cabin was wonderful! Everything you needed in the kitchen and all rooms! Lots of games, amazing River just steps from the porch! The river’s rushing water was heard from inside and we loved it! We really enjoyed ourselves. Had a few questions when we got there and were taken care of right away! Bed was amazing! Master shower was perfect! We will definitely come back! Thank you!
