Are you looking for a quiet retreat to rejuvenate your spirit with nature surrounding you in the woods? Do you want to escape from the city within minutes? We are located minutes from downtown Rogue River.

Come experience the nearby wild Rogue River's recreation area, the fresh woodland smells and wildlife surrounding you! Our cozy mountain hideaway is the perfect spot to come enjoy nature and the mountain views. You may see deer, wild turkeys, fox or other animals coming to the pond for a drink. Or sit by the fire pit listening to frogs and crickets at night while eating smores.

Cozy Cabin in a peaceful woodland

Very warm and welcoming stay in peace and quiet, a cozy little cabin with plenty of comforts and snacks. Delicious homemade chili and cornbread were made and ready for us upon our arrival. Very comfortable bed and a hot shower to greet us after a long day of travel as well. Thank you Rosie!

Wife’s surprise

Decided to surprise my wife with a little get away to Oregon. The cabin was the cutest, super relaxing spot. Recommend the star watching at night. Also if you want a little weekend getaway for locals please support Mrs rose it was amazing and her welcome meal is out of this world. Thank you

Wonderful

When we walked through the door, we were greeted with the smell of fresh baked bread. Need I say more? We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location was so quiet and relaxing, and the cottage was extremely well appointed. Everything we could have wanted was at hand, and the place was adorable. If we ever pass this way again needing a place to stay, this would be our choice.

Generous describes Rosie best..She provides everything you need to feel comfortable. The space was well designed, modern and beautiful. The windows are slanted and offer stunning views of the trees. The bed is comfy. The kitchen is large and even though there is no cooktop Rosie provided an electric skillet and crockpot. The BBQ is high quality and cooks meat easily. The fresh coffee was top notch.We loved the woodlands and her koi pond with a hammock nearby. The deer are abundant and act like they are Rosies pets.. The peace and quiet is like no other rental. Truly a gem. We hope to return annually and felt sad leaving. This is the best rental we have encountered. Just book it! You wont be sorry.

Welcoming and comfy!

Rosie’s little piece of paradise is the perfect place for a relaxing getaway! Her homemade soup and bread were FANTASTIC, and all of the thoughtful amenities and touches made us feel so welcome. Her place is comfortable and clean, the cabin is so cozy, and the outdoor areas are beautiful. I highly recommend!!

Short and Sweet

Got away for a one night getaway with my husband. Perfect quiet setting. Rosie had soup and corn bread waiting for us. We enjoyed the snacks and oatmeal for breakfast. Just the reset we needed before heading back to our busy lives.

Great stay, awesome hospitality!

Rosies cozy cottage is in one word awesome. Everything was just right. Rosie has been the sweetest host we encountered on our trip and the cottage has just everything and more. Filled fridge, nice warm dinner upon arrival, and the best of it: nice area outside where you could sit, and even encounter wildlife. This was our second time in the cabbn, highly recommend!

Perfect relaxing getawa

From start to finish, Rosie’s place was a wonderful experience and place to stay. She is so welcoming and thoughtful. The property is beautiful and the cabin is absolutely comfortable and inviting. Rosie is very responsive and proactive. She confirmed our approximate arrival time and had delicious homemade bread and chili waiting for us. The kitchen was greatly stocked, as well as the bathroom for any needs you may have forgotten and the bed was like sleeping on a cloud. Never felt the need to even leave. We will definitely be back and highly recommend.

Amazing Retreat

An amazing experience. Rosie is the most generous and thoughtful host. So many extras, from the chili and corn bread upon arrival to the oatmeal and fresh apples for breakfast The roses from her garden smelled so very good. The night sky was so clear, star watching was chilly but delightful. We'll definitely be staying with Rosie again.

Quiet Hillside Retreat Perfect for Relaxing

I had a great time staying at Rose’s guest cottage. Her property was remote and extremely relaxing, and I greatly enjoyed reading and napping on the hammock. There are a number of great spot to go to close by, and Crater lake is a few hours away. I would highly recommend it!

Anniversary Getaway

Beautiful setting. The Cabin is comfy and beautifully decorated. There are numerous "extras". This amazing host has thought of everything and more. This is the best VRBO property we have ever booked. This was our second visit and won't be our last.

Perfect Little Cabin

This is the perfect place for one or two people looking to have a quiet and peaceful stay! The cabin is lovely, very clean, and stocked with everything you might need and then some. Rosie is the perfect hostess and the homemade meal waiting for us was delicious and a welcome bonus for tired travelers. Such a relaxing spot with only the sound of the pond and nature, yet various towns nearby should you want to explore.

Wonderful and peaceful.

Beautiful and quiet getaway

My girlfriend and I had the most amazing experience. The cabin is so cozy and the fresh bread and soup on arrival just felt like home! Hummingbirds around us all the time and deer visits in the afternoon. Everything was perfect. We 100% plan to come back!

Fantastic Suite in the Woods

We stay at Rosie's just about every time we come down to Rogue River (only once was Rosie's already booked for our planned weekend). It is absolutely quaint and cute. Rosie is a wonderful host! She has soup and bread waiting for you on arrival, should you want that! Plenty of things to do in her guesthouse, but also nestled in Rogue River/Gold Hill with plenty of things to do outside! I highly recommend Rosie's! You won't be disappointed! Our faves: Plaisance Ranch has wonderful wines, a buuld your own charcuterie board, and frozen grass fed beef to purchase! Crooked Barn has beautiful views and wonderful bold reds. La Guacamaya is our go-to every time we are in town for delicious Mexican food. Del Rio vineyards is a top favorite for me and my husband.

Lovely Home

Rosie couldn't have been more welcoming. Her cabin is cozy, inviting and she certainly thought of everything! From homemade soup and bread upon our arrival, to all the little extras in the kitchen. If you forgot it she probably had it stocked for you. The setting was lovely and very peaceful in the evening. We even got to go for a short hike on her property. Rosie answered questions we had about the local area and made herself available without invading our space. Thank you so much for providing a comfortable, cozy place for us to spend our anniversary!

Peaceful Paradise

This peaceful cabin has become our annual (sometimes bi-annual) place to relax, rejuvenate and enjoy self-care time. Rosie greeted us when we arrived and gave us an update on what’s new around the property. We could smell the homemade bread while walking up the stairs and her famous veggie soup is the perfect way to wind down from a long drive. This property is a little oasis. We’ve enjoyed many nights star gazing by the fire pit, swinging on the hammock, bird watching and even woke up to snow top mountains on a past trip. It’s also a great location to enjoy activities within the Grants Pass area, Medford and beyond. On this trip we checked out a few antiques stores in Grants Pass and then took a beautiful drive on highway 238 to Jacksonville. We stopped at Pennington Farms for some baked goods and enjoyed a delicious lunch at La Fiesta Mexican restaurant in Jacksonville. Rosie’s heart overflows with kindness and she makes every stay more special than the last. We are blessed and grateful that she continues to share her slice of heaven with us! We feel the love.
