Sunshine Studio - Private apt and yard (eco, solar)

Newly remodeled and furnished! This studio apartment is solar-powered and uses high-efficiency appliances, cotton linens, and eco-friendly products whenever possible. We do a two-step cleaning/sanitizing process to guard against the spread of illness. Entry and use is private; you never have to interact with anyone in-person if you don’t want to. We are located in the heart of the famous Rogue Valley. Stay with us while you pursue adventure:
- Rafting and/or Fishing the Rogue River
- Hiking and/or mountain biking any of the hundreds of miles of trails, including sections of the Pacific Crest Trail
- Visiting Crater Lake National Park
- Touring/Tasting in Wine Country and local Craft Breweries
- Exploring scenic forests, mountains, lakes, rivers, waterfalls, and hillsides
- Attending the Britt Festival in Jacksonville, the Shakespeare Festival in Ashland, the Pear Blossom Festival in Medford, the Boatnik Festival in Grants Pass, or other local events

Homebase for wine tasting
The sunshine suite was the perfect spot for a weekend of wine tasting. Located just a few minutes from Jacksonvillle and many wineries. The suite was clean and had all of the amenities we needed.

Comfortable space with sustainable approach.
I loved the protected courtyard and high ceilings. I was home for my 50th class reunion and this was central to all the places I needed to visit. It was a comfortable space and will definitely stay again when I visit the Rogue Valley.

Love the vaulted ceiling with A/C and ceiling fan to keep you cool during hot summer days. Great private fenced in patio. No TV but has WiFi. (Gave more time for me and my husband to talk.) Clean, quiet and affordable. Very good neighborhood. Will definitely stay here again.

My husband and I were in town for some of the outdoor activities in Southern Oregon and for wine tasting. This studio was a perfect home base for us. It's A/C was essential in the 100 degree weather over the weekend. The kitchen and bathroom were well stocked, the room itself was immaculate and thoughtfully designed. The back patio was completely private and had a fire pit and extra wood. There was a designated parking space for the studio which prevented us from having to hunt nearby parking. Our host provided a booklet of useful information and provided quick and clear communication for checking in and out. We have no hesitation in recommending this rental.

Cute little studio
Very comfortable and clean, it is both stylish and quaint. Quite small but plenty of room for two. I like the outdoor courtyard with the fire pit. This was our second stay at this vacation rental, definitely recommend for a short stay.

Sunshine Studio was a lovely place! We only stayed overnight, but it was very clean, organized (many extras provided) and in a quiet and safe neighborhood. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is traveling through or staying in the Medford/Jacksonville area!! Definitely a 10/10😀

Call it a Cozy Cottage.
This place checks all the boxes. Quiet neighborhood, clean, comfortable bed, clean bathroom. I didn’t need to cook but there was enough there if you wanted to. I wish I could have use the nice fireplace outside in the secluded patio. The wood was waiting for me but I was always tired by the time I got home. I would stay here again. Especially nice for two.

This was the perfect place for a short weekend stay when my spouse and I had a family function to attend. It was very clean, the bed is comfy, and the little kitchenette space was well stocked with the basics (especially in the coffee/beverage department). This is my second stay at the Sunshine Studio. Jennifer was amazingly flexible about booking me at the last minute, which was very much appreciated. The space itself is lovely and welcoming. I didn't get a chance to use the fire pit, but the outdoor area is great as well. I will definitely stay here again, and highly recommend this comfortably, homey studio!
