"Pros: Good customer service, hotel facilitated an early check-in and providing different pillows. Bed was comfortable, location was great - walking distance to Melbourne Park for the AO, the airconditioner worked well, great blackout curtains and housekeeping service. Nice food at Harry's restaurant for dinner and the buffet breakfast. Cons: Hotel is way past its prime, would have been 5 star in the 80's & 90's but not now. "The hotel was well situated close to public transport with Flinders Street station virtually opposite and a tram stop only a couple of minutes away. The room was comfortable and quiet with a reasonably sized bathroom. The breakfast was good also. I would definitely stay there again. "

"Very conveniently located to Flagstaff Hill. Room was clean large and easy. We did miss breakfast as the restaurant stopped at 9am. Easy walking into town to the restaurants. "

"This is a very nice, larger, well appointed place in a 5 star location. It was clean, quiet and comfortable and very well located 1.5 blocks from Southern Cross Station a central hub for all transit lines. Great shopping nearby with a small grocery downstairs if you want to do a little cooking in your room. I would look for availability there again when I'm in Melbourne. "

One Bedroom Apartment | Private kitchenette

"Two bed apartment was good however it only comes with one split system aircon and one TV both of these are only in living area. So have to run aircon for long time to cool bedrooms. Cleaning was done daily and quite happy with condition of apartment. Sofa in living area can be better though. Free hotel Wifi was very fast. Overall my family was satisfied with our stay."
