The property had not been cleaned, I had no check in information, spent 3 hours on phone to sort out things and cleaner harassed me at 6pm. Would not recommend this place

Convenient for our needs
Comfortable stay - very handy for local facilities and only a short walk to the beach. Only one of us able to connect to the internet - not sure why. A little surprised that there was no information provided about using the equipment - washing machine, microwave etc. Did struggle a bit initially to enter the property but that was probably because we were unfamiliar with key safe entry systems!

Stayz Mentone
I found my stay pleasant at Stayz Mentone but was disappointed that certain things on the checklist being up to standard were not followed accordingly in between people staying at Stayz Mentone. Bed fell apart on me twice due to bed slats being loose, mattress needs replacing as it was stained. Seal on oven not appropriately sealed. Kitchen tap was leaking and spraying. But host was good in the sense of providing clean sheets for bed. Had trouble using washing machine because of the setting it was on and I did not want to interfere without causing further problems. I was only aware of the correct setting to use in being communicated with after I had left the Stayz Mentone property. At the end of my stay, I had no communication from host until after that I could not rebook despite the recent year long events of Covid-19.

My stay at Stayz Mentone.
This property is everything as stated in the Stayz listed property in Mentone. Set in a very quiet street in the village of Mentone, within walking distance to local shopping centre and public transport for both trains and buses. Nice neighbours to wave to and chat with from time to time. One can either hop on a bus for a 2 minute ride or walk 15 minutes to the local beach of Mentone part of the beautiful stretch of bayside coast going from Beaumaris to the Mornington peninsula. I would highly recommend this property to others who like to stay short term for work related or holiday accommodation from either overseas or interstate. Brendon C

My stay at Stayz Mentone
I found this place to be a Shrangri-La of sorts especially during the current 5 - 6th COVID-19 lockdowns in Melbourne. Staying here has been a lifeline for me. I am so thankful for the host to be so accommodating in letting continue to stay here. I will not change anything I have to say now other than I will recommend to anyone I will know and word of mouth that this property is located in a quiet street, within close walking distance to village shopping centre and public transport hub for both trains and buses. When staying here, one will hear the hourly chiming of a church clock which is in a way soothing to hear! Not far from Mentone Beach, it would take no more than 15-20 minutes to walk to this beautiful beach which makes up a beautiful stretch of bayside coastline from Beaumaris all the way down to the Mornington Peninsula. The property is situated in a block, with lovely neighbours to wave to and chat with. Brendon C

As always this property is advertised accurately in the Stayz property listings for people to stay short term be it for a number of reasons, business or social as well a holiday. Very close to public transport with trains and buses, shopping centre in Mentone village and let us not forget the beautiful Mentone beach which is a part of the beautiful bayside coastline going from Port Melbourne alway the way down to the Mornington peninsula. My stay at Stayz Mentone
I have found this Stayz property in Mentone to be everything as described in the listing of Stayz properties. So peaceful, quiet and tranquil. Close to all forms public transport with buses and trains, close to a wonderful shopping centre. Also close to a beautiful part of Port Phillip Bay with the beach at both Mentone and Parkdale. Also I have found my communications with the owner to be of high standard, a diligent communicator and shows interest in the well being of who stays at this property. I found this Stayz property to be everything as stated in listing. Very clean, tidy unit, with friendly neighbours I say hello to from time to time during my stay here. This unit is situated in a very quiet friendly location in Mentone. Close to shopping centre & public transport which is even more ideal! I have found it to be peaceful during my time here. Great oven and stove top to cook with! :D I found communication with the owner was great and beneficial. Owner was very accommodating given my current circumstances. I would recommend this to family or friends if they want to find somewhere to holiday for a short stay especially at any part of year!

Good location, good sized property for a one bedroom.
Wifi wasn’t the best and had trouble using the internet for work after being connected but hot spotted off my phone which was fine. Good little spot close to the beach and great stay overall. Thank you 😊

Great unit for a little getaway!
Very clean and location was nice and central. Close to shopping strips, station and beach all in which were accessible depending on your desired place to go. Replicated pictures online well. Door however was tricky to work out on first arrival, but once worked out, easy. Thankyou Lily!!

Well priced and comfortable
Quite small but was perfect for what we needed for a few days to base ourselves. My very young family of 4 slept comfortably. Lily was easily contactable and very friendly. We will consider staying here again in the future if needed. It would be good if it had a broom and dustpan and perhaps consider having a foldaway high chair and portacot for families with little children. Thanks for everything Lily!🙂

It was cheap you get what u pay for.
Lily's home was very good location. It was a bit of a older building. It needs to have a new couch as it was very old and hard not comfortable at all. Also the unit wasn't very clean.
