Built circa 1887, the cottage was originally the home of Fort Nepean’s Master Gunner, and went on to house military personnel who fortified the area during WWI & WWII. Surrounded by original bunkers and gun emplacements, the cottage has been lovingly restored and now offers a truly unique stay in Portsea.

• The cottage is part of The Portsea Camp, located within a fenced confine adjacent to the Camp's oval. The Portsea Camp may host events or weekend groups on the oval during your stay.
