"The most peaceful setting we have ever stayed in with total privacy. The house has all you could need ...both inside and the garden area. Full sun from mid morning to late evening so we could fully enjoy the garden with its sun loungers (with sun brolly for shade) The BBQ was well used with lovely evening meals at the outdoor dining table enjoying the sunsets and then starry skies. Parking is right outside the door. The 'farm' is set in the village centre. Completely renovated, it boasts several large barns and a large courtyard. Our hosts were delightful. "Wir haben unser Weihnachtsfest im den Haus verbracht und uns sehr wohl gefühlt.Wir konnten zusammen Zeit verbringen, jeder hatte dennoch seinen Rückzugbereich.Ganze Atmosphäre des Hauses hat uns sehr gefallen.Schönes altes Fachwerkhaus. Immer freundlicher Kontakt zur Vermieterin.Den Gästen stehen drei Parkplätze kostenlos zur Verfügung. Man ist zu Fuß schnell in der Stadt, es gibt viele Geschäfte, die schnell zu erreichen sind."

"We were disappointed with the property. Two rooms and up to seven guests does a lot of heavy lifting in the description. Our kids bedroom was also the shared dining room and lounge. There is also air conditioning but only in one room. It is not available in the bedroom. A washing machine is available but you have to pay extra for this which felt cheep and penny grabbing. I found the correspondence with the owner difficult and received a curt reply when seeking to clarify entry...

"Me and my partner chose to stay here with our dog as we had not visited Alsace before. The property is in a great position in a lovely quiet village with easy road and rail access to Strasbourg. Bruno the owner was very welcoming and the property is clean and full of lots of interesting historical pieces of art and furniture. There is plenty of space with three bedrooms and the kitchen is well fitted out with all modern appliances. I would highly recommend this property."

"What a find - a hotel in a working convent that used to be a palace! Breakfast nice, dinner excellent. Good choice of wines and beer. Room spotlessly clean, nice size. Grounds beautifully kept. Lovely long walking trails in the woods behind the convent. Plenty of safe parking. Very tranquil, absolutely top class, and at a very fair price. This is the second time I have stayed there, and will do so again. "

Adorable little typical Alsatian house, free wifi

Enjoyably quirky!

"We had a 3 night stay here on the the long drive north from Italy. The 'little house' is just that. Spacious for two, very well equipped and very clean and well presented. Parking is right outside the door. The 'farm' is set in the village centre. Completely renovated, it boasts several large barns and a large courtyard. Our hosts were delightful. A few goodies, including delicious homemade jams for the breakfast baguette. The courtyard and barns are stuffed with old artifacts and the large shady garden is accessible and very pleasant indeed. It's a fascinating place. The hosts were very accommodating and helpful but privacy is ensured. On the edge of the garden is a large platform on a pole with a Storks nest on top! The Stork pair roosted there and it was delightful to watch their antics from the patio. The local area was lovely and the nearby Lalique museum was wonderful. A great property to stay in."
