This lovely apartment is located inside a historical mansion in the mid-town district of Memphis, freshly remodeled and redecorated! This two bedroom two bath unit has all the things you need for relaxing after visiting Beale St., just 2.5 miles away. Quite close to the up and coming Cooper Young district that houses many fresh new restaurants. Just under 7 miles from Graceland, historical home of Elvis Presley!

Other Things to Note:

Historic Garden District
Appreciatively preserved charming older home in the Garden District. Short Uber rides to everything. A great gracious host who replied in timely manner to all questions and communications.

Loved my Memphis trip not so much the Peabody House
There was a funky smell to unit 1, the layout was funky, and the rooms really need a wardrobe so one can hang a shirt and pants. Parking was tight, and because of the lack of spots, I ended up on the street. It would have been nice if the weeds were trimmed so one could enjoy the front porch. The location is close to Beale Street, 5-6 minutes about $11 for Uber ride. Kitchen is lacking in eating utensils, and a frying pan would be nice. Also, I killed 4 roaches climbing over the back of the stove, and 1 climbing down the fireplace in the living room. Wouldn't stay again, or recommend to friends and family in its current condition.

The property was close to whatever places we wanted to go. The house was as listed. But the AC didnt work and parking was not sufficient. Spoke with the owner about parking and they helped alot.

Charming Comfy and spotless
3 Girlfriends with Memphis on their bucklist. We booked this property for the space and charm 3 BDS/2BA. It delivered. The apt was spotless. Beautiful moldings and details. This is a vintage home broken into apartments. The check in process was a little rough. The owner asked to communicate from a phone number other than the one provided by VRBO. Then proceeded to email me instead. ? Directions for access were not concise. Alot of back and forth. The front and back door have lock boxes but the front door box was not accessible due to a broken door knob on the storm door. (Came off in our hands). Only one bathroom has a shower, tub in the other. Kitchen was great ....The bear minimum on condiments. Bring your own spices if you intend to cook. A/c was not quite adequate for the entire square footage. Nearest supermarket is a mile away. Downtown is a $10+ Lyft or Uber ride. If anyone in your party cant walk 3-5 miles a day a car is a must. Parking is first come first serve in the driveway. You will be able to park in downtown when you drive in. Outside grounds need repairs and TLC. Overall and enjoyable, quiet place to start and finish your site seeing days.

The bones of this old home a very beautiful. The bathrooms, bedding and towels were all very clean. Unfortunately, upon arrival we found a pickup truck parked in the small parking lot. It was running and there were two people asleep in the vehicle. I found that disconcerting. In the rear entrance foyer the floors were very sticky and the garbage was overflowing. Inside, the kitchen floor was also very sticky. The carpet in the living room was dirty and stained. The light in the 2nd bathroom, bulbs were burnt. There was one wall sconce in the living room that did not work at all. With more attention to details & cleanliness this could be an incredible place. The host did respond to my request for bulbs for the bathroom.

Nice quiet apartment in convenient location
Really enjoyed staying here. Conveniently locsted just a few minutes drive from downtown and the riverfront. Apartment was clean and had all listed amenities. Check in was quick and easy. Beds were comfortable. Would for sure stay here again in the future.

Great Memphis Location
Lovely old house with beautiful wood features and character galore. The photos are accurate and we did not mind that the kitchen and bathrooms were not updated. The beds were comfy and we only heard a little noise from the upper unit and street. Slept well. Parking in the back was fine. The location was close to attractions and added to a pleasant first time in Memphis. This unit could be a five star with a few improvements. The description said there were 2 showers. One bathroom only had a tub. The floors were sticky and left our bare feet black. The owner needs to communicate better from booking to arrival. No answer ever to two messages about a minor request. There was not enough silverware and a few dishes were chipped. Bring your own kleenex and any spices including S an P for cooking. That all being said, the property met our basic needs and we enjoyed spending time in this historical neighborhood.

Good little get away
We were mostly adults with one infant. I like to start with the negative and end with the positive s- and the his house has a lot of positives! One negative- the people upstairs had kids or something that ran and thumped over our heads almost the entire time. I’m not sure if they live up there and it’s always like that, or if they were just temporary guests as well. Positives- The kitchen was well stocked with basic needs. The house was clean. A lot of cool old architecture to enjoy. Right on a main road in the front of the house but traffic was surprisingly not intrusive. Would be cool around Halloween because outside kind of looks haunted in a classy spooky kind of way.

Historic Memphis
The house was so beautiful. You have to understand how a historic home should look. Original floors, crown moldilg, wainscoting and much more Some upgrades is much neede in bathrooms and kitchen. Our only concern was you cant really see the front of house because of over grown trees and much needed landscaping. We would definitely stay again.
