"Plenty of room for all of us--grandparents, kids, and grandkids. A few minor things needed repair--the toilet flush handle on the downstairs bathroom was loose, and it was hard to light the gas stovetop--but we liked the house, the pool, and the location,"

"Personne pournois accueillir à notre arrivée, gîte souillé par un chat (excréments au sol, vomis sur les lits....). Le propriétaire n'a pas donné de draps propres quand il est venu nous voir le lendemain de notre arrivée. Les fenêtres sont cassées/fêlées. "The rooms are a fair size for a French hotel. No frills, clean and comfortable. Sole issue for my particular experience, shower/sink water barely over tepid. I mentioned to the staff who adressed it, and water was instantly warmer, although still not "hot". Shower with tepid water in November isnt the most agreable. But overall the experience was pleasant. This hotel is the "smaller" attached hotel to the sister property "Le Perier du Bignon", it is less fancy and you enter with a code at the door and drop the room key in a basket when you leave. I picked this hotel because i stayed at the sister property and could use a slightly less pricey accommodation. I chose this hotel because Laval can be complicated for parking in the center of the city. Will stay there again. "

"A very pleasant surprise to find a reasonably priced hotel that delivered on all fronts. Really helpful member of staff on our arrival ensuring we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Room e had was spacious even with 3 beds and everything was clean. Perfect for a 1 night stay."

"Yet again, Hotels.com failed to mention a potential charge for the dog. This is about the sixth or seventh time that this has happened. Also, in this particular hotel, dogs were not allowed into the bar area or even the reception area. This would have proved impossible if I had been travelling alone!! Hotels.com - Please be more specific in future and if you don't know the rules - find out before posting the hotel on your site"
