Nuestra experiencia por 7 noches en el "Hotel Unknown" fue excelente. El "staff" del hotel es muy amable y disponibles para ayudar con cualquier cosa o duda, como consejos de actividades y arreglos del transporte particular, etcetera. La piscina con plantas tropicales alreador es muy bonita para relajarte y refrescarte. Hay varias opciones para el desayuno diario, todo muy rico y abundante. Los cuartos son muy comodos con diseno sencillo y calmante, bien equipado. El hotel esta bien ubicada para caminar al centro o coger transporte a cualquier paseo dentro o fuera de Merida. Sobre todo nos gusto los masages que recibimos de Guillermo en el Spa que esta ubicada en el Hotel. Hay un menu de ofertas de masages diferentes que se puede escoger, y los precios muy razonables. En fin, el Hotel Unknown es "super chil" (calma y tranquilo) y fue perfecto para nosotras. Esperamos regresar!

Hotel muy bonito, el staff muy amable y atento, la opción de desayuno incluido es excelente porque no sales con el estómago vacío a realizar tus actividades, además de que puedes pedir algo más a la carta. La habitación estaba limpia y dotada de aire acondicionado, mosquitero, ventilador, el baño muy amplio. Sin dudarlo volveríamos.

This hotel is beautiful! It’s wonderfully maintained and really easy to find parking, also rather quiet compared to the city center. I will say, this is not their fault but they might want to consider redoing the doors or adding bug nets- I found a huge cockroach in my room one night and saw another going under the door to another room. It’s kinda unavoidable in the tropical climate but it would be helpful if the doors didn’t have huge gaps! In any case, it was a beautiful space and I would stay here again!

Great hotel for a romantic getaway
The hotel is beautiful and we recommended specially for couples. Is quiet and cozy, very romantic. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Do not be put off by the exterior of the street, once you are inside is very nice. Our room had its own private pool and it was really nice. The only possible downside is that is about a 15 minute walk from downtown or a 8 dollar UBER ride. We chose to walk and it was not bad at all. About two blocks from the hotel is the Mercado de Santiago where you can find good food at very affordable prices.

El baño huele muchísimo a caño / coladera, con el calor que hace en Mérida y el vapor de la regadera es sumamente fétido, no cuentan con agua fría y los muebles del cuarto están bastante descuidados. El internet no funciona, te llega 4 minutos y después se vuelve a ir y si vas de trabajo como yo, te será sumamente complicado trabajar por que tampoco hay buena señal de teléfono.

This is a hidden gem in a very quiet neighborhood. Worth going for the art alone. It just feels good to be somewhere beautiful where you can feel the attention to detail. And the pool is fantastic beat the heat! Special thanks to the staff who were patient with me and let me practice Spanish with them. Truly it’s the only way to learn and it meant the world!
