"Nice concept but poorly managed. Guests were tolerated as long as they behaved otherwise they would be fined. Cleanliness poor, terrace dangerously slippery and one of us with a bad back fell. Welcome pack reads like a punishment menu."

"We had a wonderful stay. The hosts (cat included) were very kind, welcoming, and helpful. The lodging was as advertised, and included dishes, cookware, glasses, a refrigerator, and some useful countertop appliances. There were outlets galore, including a USB Type A and Type C hub on the nightstand of the bed. It was perfectly clean when we checked in, like a high quality hotel. The bathroom especially is quite nice, with towels of varying sizes, a floor mat, a hairdryer, and even three wall...

"This property is in a quiet street in the centre of town only a short walk from the main square and bars/cafes. It has all you need for a short stay. Mohammed, our host, was responsive and did all he could to make sure our arrival went well. Be aware of the parking rules. There is on street parking but the town is very strict on timings. The will tow you away if you overstay. "

"Check-in was great. Every staff member from front desk agents to housekeepers were friendly and great. I liked that they allowed us to store our bags in the secured closet hours before check in so we could go on and about. Room was clean and comfortable with no issues whatsoever. For some reason the "veggies" I got in Amsterdam the night before gave me the munchies so I'm thankful for the vending machine in the lobby. "

"Stayed here for a festival in Tilburg and the hotel provided the perfect base for us to come back to. Extremely comfortable and clean with fantastic amenities. Big bed, coffee machine, fridge and huge waterfall shower. Loved the sauna room in the basement. "

"This is the second Van der Valk hotel we have stayed in. We chose this hotel because it is within walking distance of the Decibel Festival. The hotel is great, and the breakfast is worth the money. We had an evening meal, which was good value for money. We also used the swimming pool, which was nice. The hotel is not far from the central station, and I would advise using the bus service followed by a short walk through the park. I would recommend this hotel to others"
