"We stayed for 2 nights for a special birthday. The communications beforehand were informative and friendly. When we arrived the welcome was warm and the property was lovely. It was exactly as described as well as being clean and well equipped. The outside space was also excellent with a good sized, enclosed and safe garden. The hotel is really nicely decorated and clean, the reception is inviting and the restaurant for breakfast was excellent. Our only criticism was the bed, it’s a very small double with a very soft mattress which did not allow us to sleep well but that my suit others. "

Excellent weekend break

"Had an excellent 2 night break. No delays or issues checking in, friendly greeting, everything was explained. Room was clean, tidy and bigger than expected. We ate in the restaurant in the evening - food was delicious, great service made it a lovely relaxing experience. Breakfast the next day was good, no shortage of choice and freshly cooked buffet and continental food. One issue - one of 2 coffee machines was broken (these things happen), the other on a go slow, so there were queues which could have been better managed, worked around"

Smart convenient and comfortable hotel

"Great location- half way point from wales to south coast. Lovely reception, friendly easy check in. Nice room very comfortable. Only problem was the noise - a strange bit loud humming all the time - like machinery. Also the sink doesn't drain very fast at all - maybe a blockage somewhere - so water in the basin all the time. But all in all it's a good place to stay- easy parking and near Asda and the cinema too- both of which we took advantage of "
