"This property is right in the middle of Ajijic. Short walks for shopping of any kind, plenty of restaurants and a few blocks from the lake. The apartment is not fancy, as the price might indicate, but is clean and comfortable. Arturo is a very accommodating host. Staying in this apartment lets you feel and experience the true energy of this beautiful country."

"We really enjoyed the traditional Mexican style of this hotel. The garden room was lovely with a terrace opening out to a beautiful green space. It felt very luxurious breakfast was included with our room. The plaza is right across the street. The town is very walkable. We would definitely come back."

Charming, unique hideaway in a remarkable village.

"Very charming, intimate unique place. Pretty quiet for Mexico. Each room is completely different. Gardenia room had fewest stairs to navigate. Bed was pretty firm and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely and everyone in the hotel was chatting and sharing info. The drawbacks were the water pressure is extremely weak and the privacy curtains were not sufficient to prevent the courtyard spotlight from beaming into the room at night making it difficult to avoid. We put blankets and towels all over the windows to block out the light with some success. Even given the drawbacks, we loved the place and the service. "
