"Beautiful place. Very comfortable Staff is so friendly and saw to our every need. Only problem is it is far to drive to other parts of the island from-which we knew but it does make it difficult to explore. Also would be nice if they had some type of opportunity for food other than the set hours for breakfast lunch and dinner. Other than that it’s a beautiful place and would highly recommend "

"New owners. In process of renovation. Should be better once everything is running perfectly. Service basics was good. Once kitchen, bar are up and running properly it will be a good base. Pool is really good. Wish new owners well. "

"The bar staff were very friendly, particularly Nichalaus and Veronique. The reception staff couldn't provude clear taxi fares and we had to haggle, meaning we were paying different amounts to go to the same town. Some fares were clearly much more than they should gave been. The accommodation was fine and the beach is only a 3 minute walk away. There are very few hawkers on this beach compared to Paje. It woukd have been nice if they had occasional entertainment as other places nearby clearly...

"Is a basic beachhut set up. Basic huts set a few mins walk back from beach. Cheap and good option. Rooms are basic and functional but low end as to be expected at this price. Lively bar, more of a independent traveller vibe than many Zanzibar resorts. Food in restaurant was quite fine."
