"This was our second time staying at this property and we were not disappointed. The house is spacious, clean and the kitchen is well equipped. The bathroom was a highlight with the kids with a tv and jacuzzi bath which was well used after a days walking. The location of the property was perfect and the village is beautiful."

"Such a lovely place, in the centre of fields with horses grazing peacefully around making the setting perfect! 10 mins on foot to the beach (to go sea glass hunting) and 10 mins in the car to Morrisons. The beach is pebble and it has a steep incline so if (like me) you suffer with bad knees, you need to take care but it can be done. "The flat is nice, well equipped and very comfortable. The location is handy for the town and local amenities. The only problem is parking, there just isn’t any. Despite whatever the property description states, there is NO parking it’s a nightmare. Each and every day, various times of the day it was hunt the parking slot…. Nothing near the property ever, and this was during the week I would hate to think what it’s like at weekends."

Generous rooms, great facilities. We were late in the season so didn't get a chance to use the outdoors areas but would be great in the summer. "The house was everything we hoped for and more. The decor is spot on and there can't be many houses in Whitby with a better vista. The only thing I would say though is that it is very difficult to load and unload...Church St car park was packed so we had to use the Abbey car park which is a gruelling up/downhill slog for the less fit/able. Be prepared to travel very light as you can't get close to the property with a car. Having said that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return."
