Breakfast at White Hart was excellent. Dinner was good too. Some road noise in the large room I had due to exposure to road, but I still slept well on comfy bed. "It was our 3 time in staying at the hatchet inn it was good ,but not its usual standard ,the room above us which was no 3 the occupant decided to go bed at midnight waking us up ,by banging doors running up and down the stairs making a lot noise in the room this went on for 2 hours ,then at 4 am they started being noisy again didn’t get much sleep ,it did ruin our stay"

Simple things, could have really benefited from 2 comfortable chairs in the spacious bedroom, so as to enjoy the lovely gin provided. Food sounded and looked first class but nearly all the dishes we had were over salted. I’d stay again and try dinner next door as the place was very comfortable and set in a lovely village. "
