"This is a lovely, quiet, small basic cabin, ideal for one or two nights, but would prefer more rooms if staying longer in New Plymouth. Shirley is a lovely host and the description of the cabin is as it was. Very handy & convenient to New Plymouth attractions."

"We had a one night staycation at this property. It was great to be able to walk to the pub and cafes. The property was nice an clean and the bed was super comfy. I gave it 4 stars rather than 5, only because the couch and chairs appeared to be like reception furniture and wasn't awesome for relaxing in the evening. It would be nice to have a decent couch that two people could relax on comfortably. Otherwise, it was great. Nice selection of teas and thanks for the cookies!"

The property is very clean and comfortable, the owners go the extra mile by providing a few drinks and snacks, communication was very clear, and we felt we had privacy even though it's part of their home. It's in lovely location near the port, but still walking distance to town for dinner. Highly recommend and would stay again."

"Always hard for us as a family of 5 to find reasonably priced accommodation and separate bedrooms. 299 on Devon West was a perfect fit for us, separate bedroom for our 3 kids, easy parking and access to room (ground level) and poolside room. Really happy with our stay at short notice."

The decor was cozy and homey, the property was extremely clean and well-managed, the staff was extremely friendly, check-in was quick and easy, and the room was just as great!
