"The hotel is nice and conveniently located near John Hopkins University. However, the city of Baltimore is economically depressed and full of graffiti and vacant properties. There were a few homeless people oitside sleeping on the sidewalk. The hotel is nice - and likely one of the best in the city. But the town needs help. No need to go outside. They had a nice jazz band playing when we arrived. Bed was comfy. "

"The room was perfectly fine for the price. I checked thoroughly and everything was clean. The onsite parking was nice, staff were polite. "I live here in Baltimore City but for many years the Renaissance has been my favorite spot for a little get away ,it allows me to be downtown inner harbor which is one of my favorite places in the city, I’ve always had a great experience with this hotel and will continue to come back.
