"The apartment was clean and had everything we could have wanted or needed. Condiments in the refrigerator was a nice touch. I stayed with my grandson and Siberian husky for a weekend. The futon was comfortable according to my grandson, as was the bed. The host was very accomodating and responded quickly to messages."

"Had a great time at the Gettysburg retreat. I would like to thank the owners for letting us stay at their home for the weekend. They were great to work with their home is very accommodating just one block from the center of downtown Gettysburg And all the main attractions. "We had a lovely stay at Stratton House South. The location is perfect, an easy walk to dining and shops, yet still quiet. The unit is quite comfortable, though a little shy on power outlets by the bed. The historic notes throughout the unit were very interesting. We loved having the side yard for our use, and the provided coffee and eggs were delicious! We would definitely stay here again. "

"Great family vacation. 3 generations including young grandchildren enjoyed our stay last year and wanted to come back again this year. Beautiful, peaceful and home is a beautiful old farmhouse surrounded by fields. We definitely made use of the pool. Grandkids asked before we left if we could come back again next year. Wonderful Host and will be planning a 3rd visit. "

"Wonderful family homestead. The place is better than what the online pictures show, including how quiet it is outside of the home. FYI DO NOT TAKE THE CRUMMY ASPHALT ROAD! The only thing is that the listing showed there was a pull out bed and sleeps 6, which ended up only being 2 beds and slept 4. The hotel is historic and nice. The room was roomy and clean with comfortable bed. We were up on the 5th floor on the end and it was very quiet. The free breakfast was excellent! Plenty of seating. 2 choices of eggs, sausage, potatoes, cereals, oatmeal, biscuits/gravy, they had delicious raisin bread for a choice for toast, danish, waffles, pancakes- they had everything. They also had flavor pumps for your coffee-wow! Good parking too. Location is right in the Gettysburg town so it's close to everything. It was a great place to stay!"
