"We had a wonderful stay at Casa Rural La Cortina, so chilled out with those wonderful views. The property is so in keeping with the natural environment it is surrounded by. Our welcome was very hospitable and the hosts were very eager to make our stay just perfect. We really appreciated the fact that the local produce offered at breakfast time was explained to us and was absolutely delicious, we were intruded to delicacy that we have never had the pleasure to taste, it was most certainly the...

"We did not stay there because the information in the site was that this place is 6.1 miles from posada de valdeon which is misleading and since no one in the hotel could communicate with us in English when we called. Therefore we told the hotel that we want to cancelour stay and wish to obtain refund if we were charged. We are hoping that hotel. Com will take a good care of this issue. Dina"

The breakfast is delicious— all home made (jams.) from the moment you arrive, they make you feel welcomed and share their knowledge of things to do around the area. Their home is charming and full of collectibles and pictures that tell the home’s story."

"A pretty drive in the country to get to this location which is quiet and relaxing. Our host was very gracious and helpful. We do not speak Spanish and he went out of his way to give us great recommendations for the area. Our dinner was vey tasty and well worth the extra charge. "A beautiful country house run by a family with just 8 rooms just 2.5 km away from Potes. A good choice for one who prefers to stay a little bit away from the city centre. We chose this place because we drive and the very good price. It turned out to be a real gem as the owner and son went out of their way to give us very good recommendations for nature walks, etc. We also took an evening walk to Potes, which was 30 minutes each way. The house also has a large garden with various fruit trees...

"Pleasant stay in a Spanish house, we stayed on the second floor with a Velux window in the roof- we could have done with a fan as it got stuffy - we did ask but apparently not needed.... breakfast was plenty of toast and fruit and coffee and tea. Ideally situated on a side road just off the main road half way between Comillas and San Vicente de la Baroque, both beautiful villages - enjoyed evening meals at both but not until 9pm"

"beds are very uncomfortable, very short, squeaks. The whole building squeaks when someone walks and walls are very thin that you can literally hear everyone's conversations. Owner hardly can understand English. Was told breakfast was €4 for a person, gave €10 for 2 people was only given €5 back. Try other property."

"A fantastic place to stay to enjoy the coast and mountains of Asturias. The two terraces are amazing and there is a great set of furniture on each to enjoy the sun from morning to evening. The apartment has everything you could need and is obviously a loved home, it made staying here even more special. Friendly and helpful communications from Felipe throughout made us feel at home. Can't recommend highly enough!"

"Nice house in quiet mountain village. Close to Sotres and Cares which can be reached by car, local bus, or walking. Host was helpful in providing local information. There is no Wi-Fi in the house, but we were able to join our hosts network, sitting on the bench outside their house a short walk away."

"Its a typical asturian stone house. The main atraction for us was the location , a hamlet with no more than 10 houses surrounded by mountains all overooked by the Pico Peñamallera . The house is spotless clean with a great fireplace and all the amenities you need."
